New Playground Equipment

A new Playground initiative was also launched with the intention of further enhancing the playtime experience. Using the Sainsbury’s vouchers, that you kindly collected, we have been able to purchase new equipment and we are setting weekly challenges linked to its use. Year 4 are also currently planning ‘mini skills clubs’ which they will be running for 10 minutes over a series of lunchtimes for the younger children. Their ideas have initially included – football skills, dance, paper folding, cricket skills. We think that this will be a very exciting project and will let you know how it is getting on.
